The first weekend in January, we hopped on a plane and met John's parents, sister, and future brother in law at a beautiful house on some land in Breckenridge, Colorado. For the most part, Jack traveled well - not as good as before, but still did well. The house and scenery were a dream. It had snowed a couple of days before arriving so there was soo much untouched snow that sparkled like glitter. I honestly had never seen anything like it. Jack stayed at home with Grams (and Travis...he got sick)while the rest of us went out skiing. For my second go round at skiing, I managed to only truly fall once! We took Jack out in the snow around the house twice. His first time out, he wasn't too fond of it, but the second time, he seemed to like it a little better. Travis found a little sled for Jack but he wasn't sure what was going on.
His outfit was so puffy he couldn't really sit!
He face planted and hated every second of the cold snow on his face. I don't blame him.
Saying goodbye for now
