This past weekend we checked off "first road trip" for Jack. I have to say it wasn't nearly as bad as we thought it would be. I packed most of Jack's things over two days so it wasn't as overwhelming. We didn't get on the road until 7:15 which was the bad part. Jack took the road like a champ sleeping through everything until he got hungry in which we stuck in the paci until we could find a place to pull over to feed. We ended up in the Bucees parking lot at 11:00. I fed - John slept. Mr. Jack was tired too so feeding took a little longer than normal. We got back on the road and ended up at John's parent's house at 1:30!!! Just in time for us to unpack and feed again :) The way home was just about the same. We just have to realize that it now takes an extra 1 1/2 hours to travel.
