Easter Egg Hunting at Grammie's

The Saturday before Easter, we went over to Grammie's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was a really small crowd due to new baby, school, and illnesses, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The food was great like always, and Aunt Sharon always does a great job planning the egg hunt for my wee ones and then for us "kids!"
This will be the last year for only one little egg hunter.
 Hunt over = Candy time!
Watching Jack hunt eggs just makes me smile. The joy he gets when he spots one and the lightening speed he uses to run to it just remind me how God intended our lives to be. Pure joy.

On our way to Grammie's: Bluebonnets Take #2

The Saturday before Easter, we got ready and headed over to Grammie's to celebrate and hunt eggs. On our way, we were able to find some more bluebonnets and take more pictures! These flowers just scream my name!

Ranch Fun

We were really excited to come to the ranch a few weeks ago because they got a ton of rain which filled the tanks and made everything green - something that we haven't really seen in years with the drought. We ate fruit, rode in the mule, fed cows, mowed, found bluebonnets, and enjoyed the fresh air.
 Carter was definitely intrigued.

Sunshine and Water

After our Tuesday Morning Bible Study a few weeks ago, we headed over to the same park we always go to, but this time, the pray grounds were open! After eating out lunch, we got changed and played and played and played. Jack ran around and had a blast, of course. I wasn't sure how Carter was going to do because this was his first experience, but he loved it, too!
We can't wait until the pools open!
