Carter's Two Months!

Carter,

Two months - WOW! Where has my "baby" gone?

You are still a great sleeper waking up usually around 3:30. You did give me a treat the morning you turned two months and slept until 5:00!!! You still eat the EXACT same as you did at one month - about 4 ounces every three hours. You are still also in all 0-3 outfits, but they are starting to fit a little snug :)

At the doctor, you weighed in at 12.14lbs (75%) and 23 inches (70%)! You are cooing a lot more and smile often. Your sweet smile melts my heart. You are happiest in the morning and full of smiles, but you get quite cranky in the evening! Actually, very cranky. You are just starting to enjoy your play mat and really like the swing. You also love the bath. It can really calm you down if you've been crying.
My Cart Tart - I love you beyond words and know God is going to do great things with you.

I loved you yesterday, love you today, and will love you tomorrow,
Mommy

School Pictures

I couldn't resist the cuteness of my big boy on school picture day!

Pumpkin Perfect

We had our annual Sunday School pumpkin carving back in October. One of my good friends brought a pumpkin to put her son in for pictures, and she happily shared it with the rest of us. I'm glad she did because we got some stinkin' cute pictures.

Petting Zoo

Jack's school brings in a local petting zoo every year. It was pretty neat. There were deer, rabbits, a pig, goats, donkeys, and a llama I believe. The little pig was my favorite. You could rub his tummy, and he would roll over like a dog for you to keep scratching! Jack enjoyed them all, of course.
Grams and Pops happened to be in town, too!

Boys Sleep Over

We went home to Fort Worth at the beginning of October for my niece's birthday along with my sister having the twins! I lucked out that they both happened together :) Anyway, my two nephews, Luke & Ben, were also staying at my mom's house with us since Kaysey and Andy were at the hospital. We decided to have them all sleep together on a pallet, and it made my heart sing. I remember doing this with my two cousins at my Nana's house when they came to town. I just absolutely love it.
The first night was an epic fail. Luke went to sleep after multiple threats about 30 minutes into it. Jack and Ben were wide awake at least an hour after going down. Ben ended up in bed with Gigi, and Jack eventually fell asleep. The second night, my mom told them if they didn't make a peep, they would all get to pick a prize out of her drawer! This was the answer! Although they all weren't asleep until about 30 minutes after going down (Jack first this time), we didn't hear a single word from them. It should only get easier from her. I can't wait to throw all 6 into the mix and see how that goes! I am blessed.

Fishing

Jack found his fishing pole about a month ago and became obsessed with casting it. He asked several times if we would take him fishing so we found a pond and away we went.
No luck on catching anything which is good for this squeamish mommy. He was pretty cute casting his reel over ad over though in hopes of a fish. Maybe one day soon.

My boys

My days of taking tons of cute posed pictures are now over! I do my best to capture what I can in the midst of this daily crazy life that I love! Now I understand why my sister does a monthly photo dump. Pictures become random and more often found on my phone since it is the closest thing to me. I did manage to snag a few cute shots of my boys.
Carter absolutely loves being outside. You can often find us eating at the table with the back door open and Carter in his bouncer in the doorway!
