Aunt Sharla and Uncle Travis gave Jack his Christmas gift a few days early so he would have time to play with it. At first, he was pumped because there was Mickey Mouse all over it, and then, he figured out it moved! He got on it right away and started driving. Just this passed weekend we tied up his little bicycle to it as his "trailer" and away he went (all his idea!). He still can't really steer it, but he's pretty cute driving it.

"Live Nativity"
For December, Jack's school had a "live nativity" which was more like a small petting zoo. Still, it was neat. They were told the story about Jesus in the class first and then went outside to see the animals. Jack wanted NOTHING to do with riding the donkey or the camel which didn't surprise me one bit. He did enjoy feeding/throwing hay at the sheep, goats, and donkey along with petting them.
Eat donkey, eat!
I'm so thankful for Jack's school.

Bounce House Fun
For Christmas and birthday, Grams and Pops bought Jack a toddler sized bounce house. We had Lucy over one day so I thought it would be fun to have them bounce together. The pictures of them bouncing in action did not turn out well so all you get is stationary :)
Jack's hair was a little on the crazy side!
I love this picture of them reaching for each other.
Thanks Grams and Pops or a great present!

Tree Pictures
I always see super cute Christmas pictures around trees and with lights so I try to do them, but...I'm just not successful. Good thing I've got a cute kid to make my pictures look good :)
Santa
This year, Jack talked about "Ho Ho Ho" quite a bit. A few days before going to see him, I really talked him up. We talked about sitting in his lap, how he laughed, how he was nice, etc. He was really excited about getting to go see him.
Santa was running a little late because he has been stuck in "sleigh" traffic so we had to wait a little bit. The closer we got, the more hesitant Jack got. He still liked Santa, but this whole idea of sitting in his lap was not sounding fun anymore. He started to say, "Ho Ho Ho scary, Momma!"
He did sit in his lap. We got a hesitant picture and the rest were arms wide asking for Daddy. Maybe next year, right?! Afterwards, we went to the fountain to take a few more pictures.
He wanted in that water really badly!
I wish the lighting was better on this one because it is a pretty cute picture. He is starting to "cheeeese" it up for me :)

Making Cookies
I had been wanting to make cookies with Jack for awhile now, and what better time is there than the holidays? He LOVED putting the cookie cutters into the dough which is great since the cookie part was a huge disaster. They were so hard straight from the oven that they practically went straight into the trash. Maybe next time?!
Hay Bales
Back in November, (I know I'm way behind!) John's parents had their hay delivered from Grammie's house. I have always heard about playing on hay bales but have never had the experience until now! I think we all enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. The hardest part was actually getting on top of these really large bales, but I was determined to get it, and after three tries, I made it all by myself! Getting down wasn't the easiest either. After falling straight on my bottom the first time, I mastered that, too. I love seeing my boys in their element.
I was too scared to run across them. I could just see myself falling and breaking something!
Hi Mom!
